Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: adesa+ at 100% against GOtv Stream's 26%. adesa+ also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). GOtv Stream's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
GOtv Stream holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GOtv Stream has 1.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of GOtv Stream's written reviews are positive against 100% of adesa+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
GOtv Stream ships an update every 2 months, adesa+ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
