The call

The clearest difference is rating: OneHandClock at 4.6 against CalendarWatch's 4.0. OneHandClock also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). CalendarWatch's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

OneHandClock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OneHandClock has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CalendarWatch's written reviews are positive against 86% of OneHandClock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
