Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: WebDAV Manager at Free against HylaFAX Lite's $9.99. WebDAV Manager also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (37 vs 2). HylaFAX Lite's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (14.4 vs 16.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

HylaFAX Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebDAV Manager has 37 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of HylaFAX Lite's written reviews are positive against 80% of WebDAV Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

HylaFAX Lite ships an update every 10 months, WebDAV Manager every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
