Verdict
The clearest difference is price: ReadyVax at Free against Stark Dumbbell's $4.99. Stark Dumbbell's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 25 months) and ratings volume (503 vs 7). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReadyVax is free to download; Stark Dumbbell costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Stark Dumbbell holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stark Dumbbell has 503 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Stark Dumbbell's written reviews are positive against 75% of ReadyVax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Stark Dumbbell ships an update every 3 months, ReadyVax every 25 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
