Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Math Slide at 100% against Math Games's 66%. Math Slide also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). Math Games's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 15). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Math Games holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Games has 1.6K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Math Slide's written reviews are positive against 66% of Math Games's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Math Slide ships an update every 2 months, Math Games every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
