Verdict

Rhythm Trainer holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rhythm Trainer has 91 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Rhythm Lab's written reviews are positive against 34% of Rhythm Trainer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Rhythm Lab ships an update every 10 days, Rhythm Trainer every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
