Learn to write the correct letters, numbers and words in the US education approved plain and cursive fonts. D’Nealian and Zaner-Bloser. In this Free version, numbers are complete, the first three letters in lowercase and uppercase are available and one words lesson is enabled. Feature Highlights: • Create your own words lessons • Students can trace and record audio answers • For early to adult education • Can be used for spelling lists, sight words and any other content you wish to create • Customise all content including images, sounds and teacher example tracings • Lock app to limit student customization • Automatically, by choice, email the student's tracings and audio recordings as a webpage to the teacher or parent at the end of a completed lesson. • Create and manage multiple profiles School Fonts allows the teacher or parent to prepare word lessons using written instructions, unique images and audio instructions, to which the student can respond using written and audio recordings. School Fonts maximizes the flexibility for a teacher or parent who wants to create his or her own content. For example, instructors can create words with missing letters together with unique images and user-created audio recordings that provide a rich learning environment. Unlimited activities can be created and customized to the individual levels of student learning needs. Activities can include: spelling lists where the student writes the word and records audio of the spelling, Dolch sight words, circle the vowels, write the opposite and much more. School Fonts features four activity areas including Words, Numbers, Lower Case and Upper Case. Each lesson features a large tracing area, on which the student can use their finger, or for penmanship instruction, a stylus, to trace the letters, numbers, or words. Also included with each lesson is the ability to play an audio recording of the lesson, the ability for the student or teacher to record their own audio instruction or response, a reset button, and three different tracing options: outlines with directional tracing arrow prompts, solid lines without arrow prompts, and dot representations. Teacher tracing allows teachers to record their own example tracings for each letter and number, which replay when the student taps the Learn button. Teacher tracing offers the ability to record audio behind the tracing to replay for letter sounds or phonetics or as simple tracing instructions. This allows for regional variations of the letter sounds. With tracing accuracy turned on to easy, medium or hard the students are rewarded with a half or full star depending on their accuracy. The default teacher tracings or your customisations of the teacher tracings are used as the basis for checking the students tracing accuracy. This allows for complete flexibility over stroke direction for left hand writers. The Words activity section allows students to learn to read, write, say and spell pre-programmed teacher or parent created words. The Numbers activity section includes an image button with a picture of a number of items that correspond to the number being learned, which also can be customized. The Lowercase and Uppercase activity sections also feature the customizable photo and sound options. Teachers can create, save and share their verbal and word lessons, profiles and customizations, with complete control over the management of the lessons, the app and student profiles. Full import and export functions are included. Teachers or parents can lock the app into a restricted student mode using a four digit PIN. In student mode, word lessons cannot be created or deleted and profiles cannot be changed. Other options are available such as hiding the homepage external links. The app also has internal encouragements that can be turned off and customized via the settings.

Mesha: your essential GPA companion. Mesha is designed to help you learn any language using the Growing Participator Approach (GPA). This version of Mesha is free and allows you to add 100 items. To add more items, you buy In-App-Purchases or you can buy the already unlocked version here: http://plus.mesha.tk Watch a tutorial explaining how to use Mesha here: https://youtu.be/rsG2ZWuKRZ4 You can also see tutorials on the philosophy behind GPA here (http://www.mesha.tk/tutorials/GPA) and how to use Mesha for the recommended six-phase program (http://www.mesha.tk/tutorials/six-phases). ** Creating Collections ** Mesha makes it as easy and as fast as possible for you to record your sessions with your nurturer/teacher. In your GPA session, simply make a 'Collection' by tapping on on the '+' button in the home screen. Then add items to your collection, such as photos of objects, sketches, text or audio. ** Recording Audio ** To record the audio for these items, open this collection in Slideshow Mode by tapping on an item or by pressing the slideshow mode button. A key feature of Mesha is that it has two recording buttons. The Short Recording Button and the Long Recording Button. Use the Short Recording Button for single words and phrases. And use the Long Recording Button for full sentences, such as for stories, explanations and examples. For basic vocab items, tap the Short Recording button on the left hand side. Your nurturer can say this word or phrase aloud two or three times, And then you slide to the next item and the next recording will start automatically. For items with just plain text, you will want to do a long recording for each item where your nurturer explains gives explanations and examples. If the items are telling a story such as when you are using Lexicarry or wordless picture books and your nurturer is explaining the items in complete sentences, then you should choose the Long Recording button instead, on the right hand side. You can tap the Embed button as you are listening to create new items at that point in the story if you are uncertain of what a particular word is. Then you can review these embedded items with your nurturer in Slideshow Mode. These embedded words are added to the same collection as the story audio and are also viewable in the waveform in the slide for that audio. ** Vocab Review Mode ** To review individual vocab items, tap the 'Vocab Review' button at the bottom right of the home screen. This allows you to test yourself on items at set intervals which increase the more times that record that you know it correctly. First you will hear the word and see the image of it or hear the explanation. From then on, you will only hear the audio of the item. If you know it, swipe right and this word will be placed in a higher 'Spaced Repetition Box'. If you don't know it, or just want to check the meaning, you can swipe left and the explanation audio will be played or the picture will be shown. If you did know it correctly, tap on the 'Box' icon to mark that it was correct, otherwise the item will go back to 'Box' number 1 and you will review it more frequently to get you better acquainted with the item. Tap on the statistics at the bottom to see a graph of your progress. ** Story Review Mode ** This mode allows you to spend time listening to your stories in your target language. 'Stories' are items in Mesha which have a 'Long' Audio recording without a 'Short' Audio Recording. After you've finished listening, swipe right or tap the 'tick'. You can manually schedule the next time you'll listen to this story. It will save your position in the story if you close this window before it is finished. First you listen to stories that you have not listened to before and then it will display stories that you next need to review. Stories are displayed in the order they were recorded.
