Knowing your current heart rate is useful, but seeing in real time how it varies over a longer period tells you much more, especially when you want to understand how your body is responding to a training plan. Heart Graph suits all types of aerobic exercise including running, cycling, rowing or gym work, or everyday heart rate monitoring for general health. Heart Graph records new data and shows your heart rate graph in real time, and also imports existing data from Apple Health. Compare previous sessions to see how your body is changing over time: directly compare the graphs of equivalent sessions, view statistics such as max, mean and resting heart rate across sessions, or see the time spent in each heart rate zone aggregated over weeks or months. (Note some features require a one-off In-App Purchase, as described below.) FREE features of Heart Graph include: * Display a real-time graph of heart rate against time on your iPhone or iPad * Support for Bluetooth sensors, Apple Watch and AirPods * No ads * Review your sessions offline to spot trends in your data * Integration with Apple Health: import existing workout data and store new workouts (importing a chosen time period of up to 24 hours is currently free - a limited-time offer) * Maximise the graph area on iPhone using landscape orientation * Group related sessions with your own notes, then search for sessions matching those notes * Record a standard Reference Set at the start of each session to see how your body is really doing; if your heart rate is elevated, take it easy * Record data in the background if you want to use other heart rate apps (Bluetooth sensors) * Calculate calories burned, and set a calorie target for each session Beyond the basics, a single, one-off In-App Purchase enables the Premium Features: more in-depth analysis tools and the ability to design your training sessions in the app. Planned Workouts split a session into small pieces, for example sets at the gym or intervals on a bike. As you exercise, Heart Graph keeps track of where you are in the session and what’s coming up next, alerting you when it’s time to stop or move on. The trigger for the next set can be a simple time gap (“wait 30 seconds”) or based on heart rate to allow recovery before continuing (“wait until heart rate is below 120bpm”), giving a structured plan that adapts to how your body is responding each time. Premium Features include: * View and analyse the time spent in each of five configurable heart rate zones * Add annotations to the graph, during recording or at any time afterwards, to help identify key events * Heart rate alarms when your heart rate changes zone or goes above or below configurable thresholds * Spoken heart rate at regular intervals or on zone changes, so you needn't watch the screen * Directly compare graphs for equivalent sessions * Sync your sessions between your iPhone and iPad via iCloud Drive * Automatically import new workouts and a chosen time period every day from Apple Health, or bring in months of past data in one go * Compare statistics (such as max, mean and resting heart rate) across sessions * Record a session to explicitly measure resting heart rate while you relax * Audio rep counting - the app keeps count so you never lose track * Import Garmin TCX and GPX format files * Export data to TCX, Polar HRM or CSV files for further analysis, e.g. in Excel * Export one or more sessions as a PDF, complete with summary, heart rate graph and a table of your annotations, ready to share or print Heart Graph requires an external sensor to record heart rate, such as: * A Bluetooth (BTLE) sensor such as the Wahoo Trackr / Polar H10 chest straps, or Mio Alpha watch * An Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3 * An ANT+ sensor connected using the Wahoo Key DISCLAIMER: Heart Graph is not a medical device, and you must always seek a doctor’s advice before making any medical decisions.

About

PentaRace

Features

PentaRace is a clean, focused GPS tracker for runs, rides and hikes. No ads, no subscription, no account to create: just the numbers that matter, on a full-screen map. TRACK EVERY OUTING Pick Run, Ride or Hike, tap Start and watch your route draw itself live on the map. Duration, distance, speed and calories stay in large, easy-to-read digits at the top of the screen, while a compact bar at the bottom shows your heading, your current altitude and the Start, Pause and Stop buttons. Pause whenever you need to, then stop to save your activity. HEART RATE SENSORS, NO PAIRING HASSLE PentaRace connects automatically to any standard Bluetooth heart rate sensor: chest straps such as the Polar H10, Garmin HRM or Wahoo TICKR, optical armbands, or a sport watch broadcasting its heart rate. Your live heart rate appears in a color-coded banner showing your current effort zone, from warm-up to max, based on a maximum heart rate estimated from your age. CALORIE ESTIMATES THAT MAKE SENSE Enter your age, sex and weight once. Without a sensor, PentaRace estimates the calories you burn from your speed (shown with a ~). As soon as a heart rate sensor is connected, it switches to a heart-rate-based formula for a more accurate figure. APPLE HEALTH Every saved activity is written to the Health app as a running, cycling or hiking workout, with its GPS route, distance, calories, heart rate and speed samples, and per-kilometer splits. YOUR HISTORY, ON ALL YOUR DEVICES Your activities sync through your own iCloud account. Open any of them to see its map, its key stats (duration, distance, average and maximum speed, elevation, calories, heart rate) and charts of speed, altitude and heart rate over time, with effort zones shaded on the heart rate chart. Rename an activity with a tap, and share a clean image of its map and stats from the share sheet. YOUR LANGUAGE, YOUR UNITS The app is available in English and French, and distances, speeds, altitude and weight follow your region: miles, mph and feet in the US, kilometers and meters elsewhere. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs. Your activities and fitness profile stay on your iPhone, in your iCloud account and in the Health app. Whether it's a quick 5K, a long Sunday ride or a weekend hike, PentaRace tracks it without getting in the way.
