A meditation timer with nothing in the way. Pick a length, tap Begin, sit. A bowl rings at zero. The timer, your streak, your calendar and Apple Health are free, with no account and no ads. Then, only if you want it: quiettime can see your breath. Prop the phone on the table, close your eyes, and the front camera reads your breathing while you sit. Nothing is recorded or uploaded; the camera runs live and keeps only the numbers. After the bell: breaths per minute, and how long each inhale and exhale ran. At the halfway mark it speaks once, only when your exhale could be longer. The camera stays off until you set it up. Needs an iPhone with Face ID. Three camera sits are free, then Pro, one purchase. Patent pending. Meditation apps bury a simple timer under courses and paywalls. quiettime is the opposite. A day counts at five minutes, so the bar to keep a streak alive is low and honest. Sit longer when you want to; the app never asks for more than that. THE TIMER - Choose minutes on the dial, or tap a preset - A bowl rings at zero. End early any time - After the sit: a quick note and "did you open your eyes?" before it logs GUIDED SITS Tap "Guide me" and swap the dial for two paced sits. Bells walks the seven bowls one at a time, root up to crown, a bowl every three minutes, so a full ladder runs twenty-one. Drift holds one bowl singing under the whole sit: pick five, ten, fifteen or twenty minutes, and the beat underneath it. The binaural beats want headphones. BOWLS Seven singing bowls you can strike or slide to sing, tuned to the chakra tones. Free to play with any time, not just during a sit. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A widget with the seated mark. One tap begins a twenty minute drift. FRIENDS - Game Center leaderboards: current streak, seconds sat this week, lifetime seconds - Global boards and a friends-only view STREAKS - A day counts once you sit five minutes or more - The streak grows a minute a week, so today's sit is only ever a breath longer than the last HISTORY AND HEALTH - The full calendar, trends over the weeks, and every sit you've logged - Apple Health: sits count toward your mindful minutes - Bowl mixer: swell, drift, sway and a timed listen mode for the bowl board - Your own pace on the bells: seven, fourteen or twenty-one minutes - iCloud sync, off until you turn it on: your record in your own iCloud, so a new phone already knows your streak All free. The timer and its record are never behind a purchase. QUIETTIME PRO One purchase. No subscription. Patent pending. - Breath: the camera read, every sit, after your three free ones - Breathe: the live breath trace on its own, outside a sit - Pulse: read your heart rate during a sit, on device, to see it settle PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No tracking. The camera runs live and keeps only the numbers. Your sits stay on your phone, or in your own iCloud if you turn sync on. There is no server of ours. Set it. Close your eyes. Sit.
