About

BikeFlasher

Bike light stopped working, battery empty, or no other light at hand? BikeFlasher turns your iPhone into a temporary emergency light. For cyclists dealing with a breakdown and anyone who needs some extra light unexpectedly. Handy when you do not have a better bicycle light at hand. BikeFlasher is not a substitute for proper bicycle lighting and is not an emergency calling or rescue system. THREE LIGHT SOURCES • White: Only the screen lights up; the LED stays off. • Red: Red screen light without the LED. • LED: The rear flashlight operates while the screen stays black. THREE LIGHT PATTERNS • Steady: continuous light. • Blink: fast, regular light pulses. • Beacon: one long pulse followed by two short pulses. FULL-SCREEN LIGHT WITH CONTROL LOCK The app starts immediately with steady white light. Mode buttons switch directly between White, Red and LED, with no separate power button. After five seconds without interaction, the menu hides and locks in every mode. White and Red remain full-screen; LED keeps the display black. Blink and Beacon continue unchanged. Tap the screen, then drag the unlock slider handle from the left to the right end. You can also lock immediately using the lock icon. SIMPLE AND OFFLINE No account, ads or tracking. Available in English and German. The app keeps the screen awake while the light is active. IMPORTANT Keep the app in the foreground. Locking your iPhone or switching to another app stops the light; returning resumes it. The control lock is not an iPhone lock screen and does not block hardware buttons. LED mode requires available, supported hardware. Use proper bicycle lighting when riding and do not operate the app while riding. Flashing light may cause discomfort or seizures in photosensitive people. Extended LED use increases battery consumption and heat.
