Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: LibriVox Audiobooks at 4.8 against Librivox's 4.4. LibriVox Audiobooks also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (33K vs 242). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LibriVox Audiobooks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Librivox sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
LibriVox Audiobooks holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LibriVox Audiobooks has 33K ratings behind it against 242, so its average is the more settled of the two.
