ImageResize's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. ImageResize sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and BatchResizer2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ImageResize holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 227 and 100 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of ImageResize's written reviews are positive against 65% of BatchResizer2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ImageResize ships an update every 2 weeks, BatchResizer2 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
