Verdict
Send Anywhere and TransferNow both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Send Anywhere's written reviews are positive against 29% of TransferNow's. Send Anywhere also leads on ratings volume (55K vs 198) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.4). TransferNow's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Send Anywhere sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TransferNow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Send Anywhere against 4.6 for TransferNow. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Send Anywhere has 55K ratings behind it against 198, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of Send Anywhere's written reviews are positive against 29% of TransferNow's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
