It has been used by institutions such as Yale University, the University of Melbourne and the Australian Government's National Health & Medical Research Council. Score the RCADS in minutes — designed for clinicians. RCADS Test administers and scores the Revised Children's Anxiety and Depression Scale on iPhone and iPad. Get age- and gender-normed T-scores, six clinical subscales, and a clear chart against the T=65 threshold — without leaving the consult room. WHY RCADS TEST • Built for clinical psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, school counselors and therapists. • Validated scoring against published norms — not a re-skinned consumer self-test. • Works fully offline. Nothing leaves the device. No signup, no account. WHAT'S INSIDE • Both the Child Self-Report and Parent-Report forms (47 items each, ~a few minutes). • Automatic T-score conversion using age- and gender-based norms. • Six subscales: Separation Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Social Phobia, Obsessive-Compulsive, Major Depression. • Composite scores: Total Anxiety and Total Internalizing. • Clinical chart with the T=65 cut-off line for fast visual interpretation. • 85 languages, including English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Mandarin and many more. • Hand the device to a child or parent for self-completion, or read items aloud. • Clean, calm, professional interface designed for the consult room. WHO IT'S FOR RCADS Test is for licensed mental health professionals — clinical psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, school psychologists, school counselors, therapists, and supervisors training the next generation of clinicians. Parents and older adolescents may also use it, but the language and workflow are clinician-first. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the form (Child or Parent) and enter the child's age and gender. 2. Complete the 47 items — on your own device, or hand it to the respondent. 3. Tap Score. T-scores appear instantly with a clinical chart. 4. Save, export or discuss the result with the family. IMPORTANT RCADS Test is a screening and scoring aid. It is not a diagnostic instrument. Results must be interpreted by a qualified clinician within the context of a full assessment, clinical interview, and other corroborating information. This app is not a substitute for professional judgement or treatment. The RCADS instrument is freely available for non-commercial clinical and research use. RCADS Test provides scoring, normed T-score conversion, charting, multilingual administration, and clinical workflow on top of the published instrument.
