Manzil is a beautiful collection of selected Quranic verses, traditionally recited as a means of spiritual protection and healing (Ruqyah) from black magic, jinn, witchcraft, sihr, sorcery, and the evil eye. It is reported that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) himself was once afflicted by sorcery, and he sought relief through the recitation of Quranic verses. Various authentic traditions highlight the powerful impact of certain parts of the Quran in repelling harm, promoting general well-being, and helping us become better practicing Muslims. The Manzil consists of 33 verses from different parts of the Quran, offering protection from spiritual harm, evil forces, and physical dangers such as thieves or harmful creatures. It includes verses from the following chapters: - Al-Fatihah (1:1–7) - Al-Baqarah (2:1–5, 163, 255–257, 284–286) - Aal Imran (3:18, 26–27) - Al-A'raf (7:54–56) - Al-Israa (17:110–111) - Al-Mu’minoon (23:115–118) - As-Saaffaat (37:1–11) - Ar-Rahman (55:33–40) - Al-Hashr (59:21–24) - Al-Jinn (72:1–4) - Al-Kaafiroon (109:1–6) - Al-Ikhlas (112:1–4) - Al-Falaq (113:1–5) - An-Naas (114:1–6) It is recommended to recite the full Manzil once or three times in a single sitting, ideally once in the morning and once in the evening.
