Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: WhoDat at 100% against BillionGraves's 43%. WhoDat also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). BillionGraves's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WhoDat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BillionGraves has 1.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of BillionGraves's written reviews are positive against 100% of WhoDat's.
BillionGraves ships an update every 2 months, WhoDat weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
