About

Senru

Features

Just write the deadline. What's urgent turns red. Senru is a to-do app that sorts itself by deadline. No folders, no priorities, no reordering. Type a task in one line and it lands at its deadline on a single timeline. Only tasks due within 12 hours take on color — so the moment you open Senru, you know what needs you now. WRITE IT IN ONE LINE Type "review proposal 3pm tomorrow" and the deadline is tomorrow at 3 PM. "Take out the trash every Monday" becomes a weekly repeat. Dates, times, and repeats are read on your device, and you can check the result before the task lands. English and Japanese both work, just as you write them. START WITH WHAT'S RED Only tasks due within 12 hours take on color. They shift from amber to red as the deadline nears, and the most urgent ones pulse. Everything further out stays neutral, so your next move is obvious at a glance. QUIET UNTIL IT'S CLOSE • More than 12 hours out — silence • Within 12 hours — open the app and a Live Activity counts down on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island • 2 hours before — one alert with a gentle haptic, even during a Focus • After the deadline — one more note, then quiet. No nagging READING THE TIMELINE The middle of the screen is now. The further up, the further ahead; below the middle is what's done. Distant tasks are grouped and kept small, then open one by one as you scroll closer, with date markers showing which day you're looking at. Tasks without a date wait at the very top as "someday" — drag one onto the timeline once it has a date. Long-press and drag any task to reschedule it. PREFER A LIST? IT'S RIGHT THERE The same tasks read as a plain list, nearest first: Soon, Today, Tomorrow, and on. Search covers completed tasks and the trash too, and you can complete, reschedule, or restore right from the results. The list gives you every action, so Senru works fully with VoiceOver. FREE. NO ADS. NO SIGN-UP. Every task-management feature is free. There are no ads and no account to create. Dates are read on your device, not on a server, and nothing is tracked. Your tasks stay on your device and in your private iCloud database. AND MORE • Repeats — daily, weekdays, weekly, monthly, or every N days. Complete one and it moves to the next • Extra alarms — "remind me the night before," at any time, apart from the deadline • Widgets, Lock Screen, StandBy — your most urgent task and its time left, without opening the app • Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, Control Center — add a task in one phrase • The feel of done — a gentle haptic and tone when you complete a task • Accessibility — VoiceOver, the largest text sizes, Increase Contrast, and Reduce Motion • iPhone and iPad — the layout fits your screen, and on iPad a hardware keyboard handles adding, the list, settings, and jumping back to now • iCloud sync — the same tasks on your iPhone and iPad (requires signing in to iCloud) • Dark and light themes Just write the deadline. Senru does the rest.
