Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Dominion at none against Line Sweeper's shown. Dominion also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 8). Line Sweeper's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 68%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Line Sweeper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dominion sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Dominion holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dominion has 4.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Line Sweeper's written reviews are positive against 68% of Dominion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Line Sweeper ships an update every 6 months, Dominion every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
