It is intended for students of classical vocal music: opera, oratorio, song literature, etc. Any student of singing hoping to build a solid technical foundation can use Vocal Tech. The app discusses Phonation, Resonance, Posture, and Breathing. It includes vocal exercises with recorded examples and a voice recorder for the student, as well as piano accompaniment for exercises. A tenured university professor with a doctorate in voice performance and vocal pedagogy from Indiana University created Vocal Tech.

DictionBuddy’s mission is to bring a major element of Operatic Training into the 21st Century. Learning should be easy, fast, and affordable but today it is not for many opera singers. Sadly, many singers aren’t able to access these educational and training services easily and often can’t even afford to do the amount of training they would desire. DictionBuddy will change all of that by simplifying, standardizing, and globalizing access to world-class resources and training. We have created a platform that offers a library of diction recordings in several languages, made by native speakers prioritizing the diction used when SINGING. Each title in our library has 2 versions: First is a normal poetic reading with the inflection and flow of each language emphasized. The second is a slow recording where every syllable is taken slowly and given the appropriate attention so that details are not missed.
