Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Beer With Me at free against MalleMap's freemium. Beer With Me also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). MalleMap's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
