Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Roulette at 70% against NLCB's 0%. Roulette also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 34 months). NLCB's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 15) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roulette sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. NLCB asks for nothing beyond the download.
Roulette holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roulette has 32K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Roulette's written reviews are positive against 0% of NLCB's.
Roulette ships an update every 2 months, NLCB every 34 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
