Autism iHelp is a vocabulary teaching aid developed by parents of a child with Autism and a speech-language pathologist. Autism iHelp was inspired by the need for specific language intervention tools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder focusing on their unique strengths and difficulty with expressive vocabulary. Autism iHelp Opposites targets fundamental vocabulary building skills in a variety of formats. While utilizing real-life photographs, this app introduces the learner to the concept of opposites. Learning opposites is necessary for understanding the concepts of same and different as well as remembering descriptive words that can be used in conversation. Building opposites into a child's vocabulary strengthens word retrieval and comprehension of all aspects of a vocabulary term. During the practice portion, the app uses real-world photographs to label different opposites (on the same screen). During the game portion, the student is required to choose the given opposite in a field of choices. Additionally, you are able to track your child's gains through progress reports that average the last 3 performances of each learning enhancement activity. “with Autism iHelp…..it gets better.”

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Autism iHelp at 75% against Sequences's 0%. Autism iHelp also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.2 vs 15.6). Sequences's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 10 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Autism iHelp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sequences sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Sequences holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Autism iHelp has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Autism iHelp's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sequences's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Autism iHelp ships an update every 10 months, Sequences every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
