HalfLight Duo
Read full descriptionHide full description
HALFLIGHT is a 2-player cooperative puzzle game built around a single shared character — and a twist neither of you can escape: you never see the same thing. One player is Light, and only sees clearly when the character is standing in the light. The other is Dark, and only sees clearly in darkness. Whoever's in the right condition drives the character; the other is blind to hazards right in front of them and has to call out what they see, sight unseen by their partner. Together, you dig through crumbling earth to find hidden crystals and reach the exit. But the ground fights back: • Rocks and bombs fall the instant you step out from under them — stand still and you're safe, move carelessly and you're not. • Bombs explode in a blast radius on impact, chain-reacting into other bombs and smashing through granite. • Some blocks aren't what they look like — solid granite that's secretly hollow earth, harmless dirt hiding a live bomb underneath. Only one of you can ever see which, and only under the right light. • Push rocks and bombs sideways to clear a path, or use them to your advantage. No reflexes will save you here — only communication. Say what you see, trust what your partner tells you, and dig your way to the light. MODES • Solo — play both roles yourself, switching between light and dark as needed. • Private — create a session and share a short code with a friend to play together from separate devices. • Random — get matched with another player looking for a co-op partner. Levels unlock one at a time as you complete them, from simple introductions to devious multi-hazard puzzles. No ads. No accounts, no passwords — just an anonymous connection to sync your session. No in-app purchases.
