We are thoughtful in everything we do — from choosing fonts created by South Asians to paying our writers and illustrators responsibly — and have been featured in The Guardian, TechCrunch, Axios, Forbes, CNBC, Harvard Business School, Yale, and others. Download our app to read new stories, search through content, and find and save your favorite reads. • Stay up-to-date with timely, insightful stories on South Asia(ns) • Save your favorite articles to easily come back to them • Share articles with your friends for free to discuss and debate the most insightful analyses you’ll find • Search through more than 1,100+ articles to build your knowledge base on the world’s fastest growing demographic Why we have a paywall Media is difficult. People like free. But free, ad-supported content often leads to clickbait articles that are low quality. Ad revenue doesn’t responsibly support the costs associated with publishing an article (not even The New York Times survives on ad revenue alone). We launched a paywall because it allows us to pay our writers, editors, photographers, engineers, and artists responsibly. It also allows us to invest in better journalism. If you have additional questions about this, please don’t hesitate to email support@thejuggernaut.com. We’d love to hear from you. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: The Juggernaut at 4.9 against infinithoughts's 1.0. The Juggernaut also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months). infinithoughts's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 55%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. infinithoughts sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and The Juggernaut sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

The Juggernaut holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Juggernaut has 361 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of infinithoughts's written reviews are positive against 55% of The Juggernaut's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

infinithoughts ships an update every 9 months, The Juggernaut every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
