All you need is the current month's schedule that the fire station or your supervisor provided and the length (in days) of the shift sequence. (The preset sequence is ABCACACBCABABACABCBCB, is 21 days long, and starts repeating at day 22.) You will find that you can also print a full-year color calendar to any wireless printer in the area. It's useful for sharing your schedule with spouses, kids, friends, etc – but they could also have their own FireDocket apps since the app is distributed for free. Unlike most of the other fire calendar applications offered in the App Stores, this one is free (with ads). FireDocket does not provide facilities for trading days or marking paydays or noting holidays – but what it does do, it does very simply, very fast and very well !
