Both are free to download. BikeComputer Pro sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Cateye Cycling asks for nothing beyond the download.
Cateye Cycling holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cateye Cycling has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of BikeComputer Pro's written reviews are positive against 16% of Cateye Cycling's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
