Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: VOA at 76% against CNBC's 20%. VOA also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). CNBC's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
