Lambda Tuner is a tool for tuning PID controllers. It is using the “Lambda method” to calculate the P,I and D parameters. It works on self-regulating loops and integrating loops. It's designed to be intuitive, easy to use and is suitable for any kind of process industry. To calculate the parameters you need to describe your process with four values. After that you select the Lambda value, thats a value of how fast you want your controller to react. You can test to manually set the PID parameters, to test if your process description behaves similar in the calculation as in reality. It can also be used as a tool to learn the different impact of the PID parameters.
