Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Телеканал RU.TV at 5.0 against Radio FM's 4.4. Телеканал RU.TV also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). Radio FM's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (182 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Radio FM sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Телеканал RU.TV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Телеканал RU.TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Radio FM has 182 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Radio FM's written reviews are positive against 41% of Телеканал RU.TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Radio FM ships an update monthly, Телеканал RU.TV every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
