Both are free to download. OMG!BUGMASHER sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Virtual Slime sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
OMG!BUGMASHER holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Slime has 121K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of OMG!BUGMASHER's written reviews are positive against 88% of Virtual Slime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
OMG!BUGMASHER ships an update every 7 months, Virtual Slime every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
