Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Interpolator at 4.9 against Flight's 4.4. Interpolator also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 10 months). Flight's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Interpolator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Interpolator holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Interpolator has 74 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Interpolator's written reviews are positive against 88% of Flight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Interpolator ships an update every 4 months, Flight every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
