EierUhr calculates the perfect boiling time for your eggs instead of guessing. Choose the egg size, how you like it and whether the egg comes straight from the fridge or is at room temperature. EierUhr uses a physical heat-transfer model to calculate the time the yolk needs to reach the right temperature. COOKED RIGHT, EVEN IN THE MOUNTAINS Water boils at a lower temperature the higher you are. EierUhr uses your location once to determine your altitude and the resulting boiling point of the water, and adjusts the boiling time accordingly. ALWAYS IN VIEW • Countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with Live Activities • Alarm when your eggs are done – even in Focus mode thanks to time-sensitive notifications • Notification 20 seconds before the end • The timer keeps running even if you close the app SIMPLE • Sizes: small, medium, large, XL • Doneness: soft, medium, hard • Starting temperature: refrigerator or room temperature • Available in English and German • Supports VoiceOver and Dynamic Type FREE AND PRIVATE No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking. Your location is only used on your device to calculate the boiling point.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EierUhr at none against Rezeptesammlung's 1. EierUhr also leads on ads (none vs shown). Rezeptesammlung's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
