TBM Performance computes all the useful performance numbers for flight planning for Daher (Socata) TBM aircraft models. It includes calculations for takeoff, landing, climb, cruise, descent, instrument procedures as well as emergencies. The app contains a complete set of normal and emergency procedures,including a glide distance calculator that handles headwinds and tailwinds, and an interactive circuit breaker finder. It also includes a hold entry calculator, a radar page, and a risk analysis tool. TBM Performance is also available on other mobile devices and as a WebApp (an App that runs in a browser) that runs on a variety of platforms (PC, Mac, tablets, phones). This free utility app is used in conjunction with the Bad Elf Wombat hardware accessory. This app allows pilots and operators to download aviation databases from compatible avionics websites to their iPad or iPhone via Wi-Fi or cellular. Once downloaded, the user can then connect to the Bad Elf Wombat accessory via Wi-Fi to transfer the database(s) to a USB drive or SD card. Pilots can also collect flight and engine logs from compatible avionics, and upload them to sites such as SavvyAnalysis, CirrusReports, and myTBM.aero.
