HofstraSafe is the official safety app of Hofstra University. It is the only app that integrates with Hofstra University's safety and security systems. Public Safety has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the Hofstra University campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources. HofstraSafe features include: - Emergency Contacts: Access the appropriate Hofstra University contacts in case of an emergency. - Mobile Bluelight: Send your location to Hofstra University public safety in real-time in case of a crisis. - Share my Trip: Send your location to a friend through email or SMS on your device who can track your location in real-time. The friend will also be able to trigger a call to emergency services. - Safety Toolkit: Explore safety tools provided in one convenient app. - Emergency Support: Access some of the most common support resources available to the Hofstra University community. - Safety Notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from Hofstra University public safety in the event of an on-campus emergency.
