PlanEx vs Flashcard Crafter

PlanEx brings flashcards, spaced repetition, and a smart study planner together in one simple app. Studying for an exam? Learning a new language? Create flashcards, review what you've learned, and track your progress. PlanEx adjusts your review schedule based on how well you remember each card and how much time you have until your exam. FLASHCARDS FOR ANY SUBJECT Vocabulary, physics formulas, historical dates, or human anatomy. Turn any topic into flashcards. Add images, format text, highlight key information, and organize your cards into decks. SPACED REPETITION You don't have to remember everything on the first try. That's what practice is for. PlanEx uses spaced repetition, a research-backed learning method that helps you retain information over time. The algorithm tracks your answers and adjusts when each card appears again. Remember something well? You'll review it less often. Still struggling? You'll practice it sooner. EXAM PREPARATION One month until your exam? Or just one week? Set your exam date, and PlanEx plans reviews around your deadline and learning progress. Keep your preparation on track without having to schedule every session yourself. SMART STUDY PLANNER Check your study calendar, track your progress, and get reminders when cards are ready for review. Less time planning. More time actually learning. A handy flashcard builder for memorizing foreign words, terms and definitions: – Add images and text, customize font color and size – Create additional hint fields – Group cards into folders, move them between folders, and share sets with other users – Choose intervals between card repetitions – Change the total number of repetitions How it works: – Create flashcards with the words or terms you want to memorize and start practicing. – The practice algorithm exposes cards ranked by level of learning and date added. First you will be shown the new cards with a low learning level. – The app shows one side of a card (often the side that you remember the least) and asks you to recall the answer. Trying to recall an answer without hints is the most efficient and fastest way to commit the information to memory. – Next, the app reveals the full card and asks you if you managed to recall the correct answer. If you did, the card learning level increases; if not, it decreases.
