Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Eggnote at 5.0 against T's 2.1. T's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 20%) and ratings volume (84 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. T sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Eggnote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Eggnote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: T has 84 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of T's written reviews are positive against 20% of Eggnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
T ships an update fortnightly, Eggnote every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
