Both are free to download. 18m sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. 老王VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.
老王VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 老王VPN has 641 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 18m's written reviews are positive against 85% of 老王VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
18m ships an update every 3 weeks, 老王VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
