Find a hidden five-letter word by slicing the alphabet. Each puzzle begins between two boundary words. Enter any valid five-letter word. Wordhump keeps the side containing the answer, moves one boundary, and shows how many possible guesses remain. Make useful cuts, notice shared prefixes, and close the range. ONE DAILY PUZZLE Play the same authored Daily as everyone else. Build a streak, review your on-device statistics, and share your result without revealing the answer. LEARN IT IN ONE CUT Five short, unscored practice puzzles teach the idea. The first demonstrates a useful cut; the rest let you take over. Already understand it? Skip straight to today's Daily. KEEP PLAYING Finish or reveal the Daily to unlock an unlimited loop of unscored bonus puzzles. Suggestions are available when you want them, and every puzzle can be completed or revealed—there is no timer or hard lockout. BUILT FOR WORDS, NOT TILES - Type freely with the compact in-game keyboard, the iPhone keyboard, dictation, or a physical keyboard. - See which boundary moved, how many guesses remain, and a broad zone to search next. - Keep proven starting letters locked in place as the range narrows. - Share spoiler-free cut marks, try count, assistance status, and streak. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Wordhump has no account, advertising, in-app purchases, or cross-app tracking. Your saved game progress and statistics stay on your device. Optional usage analytics is off by default and available only to adults who choose to share it. Shared usage events and puzzle results are linked by a random device reference, not your name. Words you enter and puzzle answers are never included in product analytics. You can turn sharing off or prepare a data access or deletion request in Settings. An internet connection is required to load and check puzzles.
