MOJO Guitar Tuner is a tuner and chord library for guitar and ukulele players. Simple, accurate, and completely offline. ■ Accurate to 1 cent Measures pitch down to a single cent, with a smooth, continuous needle that moves like a real hardware tuner. See at a glance which string you're playing and how far sharp or flat it is, shown by color, needle and number. ■ Automatic string detection Just play: the app works out which string it is. Or tap a string to lock onto it and tune one at a time. When every string is in tune, the app shows a clear check mark. ■ All the tunings you need Guitar: Standard, Drop D, Half-step down, Open G, DADGAD Ukulele: Standard (high G), Low G, Baritone Set the A4 reference anywhere from 415 to 466 Hz to match your band or ensemble. ■ 1,368-chord library 5,383 fingerings across guitar and ukulele. Search by chord name in English or Thai. Diagrams show where each finger goes, with finger numbers, barres, the notes in the chord, and how hard it is to play. Swipe through several shapes for the same chord, from easy open shapes for beginners to positions further up the neck. ■ Built for iPhone and iPad One app for both. On iPad the large dial is easy to read from a distance with the iPad resting on a table or stand. Supports ProMotion displays, so the needle moves without a stutter. Thai and English, light and dark themes. ■ Offline, no ads Everything works without an internet connection. No ads, no in-app purchases, no data collection. ■ About the microphone The app asks for microphone access only to hear the pitch of your instrument. Sound is analyzed on your device and discarded immediately. It is never saved to a file and never leaves your device. The microphone is on only while the tuner screen is open, and switches off as soon as you leave it. ■ From the developer If you dream of making music, I'd like this app to be a small source of support along the way. That's why it's free — no ads, nothing to buy, and none of your data collected. Nothing should stand between you and the music. Wishing you the best on every step of your journey. Ideas or requests? Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MOJO Guitar Tuner at none against Jam's 2. MOJO Guitar Tuner also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). Jam's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
