Cafe Rush Planner
Read full descriptionHide full description
You run a coffee shop from a top-down floor plan. Before each shift, time is frozen. Drag the register, coffee machine, fridge, kitchen, tables and other furniture across the grid, then watch the service loop change tile by tile. A shorter route gives staff more time before guest patience runs out. Press Open and the layout gets tested. Guests arrive in the same order with the same orders every time, so each replay is a fair test. Staff visit the stations required for each dish while you watch queues form. During service you can comp one guest, speed everyone up briefly, or switch between 1x and 2x speed. After the shift, the report shows: guests served and lost revenue and average wait tiles travelled per guest three goals and stars a heat map of bottlenecks Then you rebuild. Move a machine, change a table, add staff or invest in equipment, and run the same demand again. Money carries across 20 campaign shifts, furniture stays purchased, and one star opens the next shift. New dishes, guest types, workers and larger rooms appear. From shift eight onward, each shift adds a complication, from late staff and couriers to spills or slower stations. Reputation changes tips, while wages cut into revenue, so another employee is not always the answer. After the campaign, endless shifts and a daily shared shift continue the test.
