About

Rokey

Type Romanian without worrying about diacritics. Rokey is a keyboard for iPhone and iPad made for Romanian. Type "multumesc" and you get "mulțumesc". Type "o fata" and you get "o fată". Rokey adds the diacritics from context, the way you would, fixes typos and suggests the next word. DIACRITICS, AUTOMATICALLY • Type without diacritics and Rokey adds them when you finish a word: "si" → "și", "cred ca" → "cred că", "bucuresti" → "București" • It looks at the words before, not just the word you typed • Don't like a change? One ⌫ brings back what you typed • Always comma-below ș and ț, as Romanian requires, never the cedilla SUGGESTIONS • Completes the word you started, even without diacritics: "multu" → "mulțumesc", "mulțumim" • Forgives a slip mid-word: "frim" → "frumos" • Suggests the next word: after "Mi-e tare dor de" comes "tine" • Learned from over a billion words of Romanian TYPO CORRECTION • Fixes typos: "multumsec" → "mulțumesc" • Knows which keys are neighbours • Corrects only when it's sure; otherwise your word stays as you typed it MADE FOR TYPING • ă, â, î, ș, ț with a long press on a, i, s or t • Hold the space bar to move the cursor like a trackpad • Hold ⌫ to delete letters, then whole words • Double space after a word types a period • Emoji by category, with skin tones and your recent ones • Liquid Glass, in light and dark mode • iPhone and iPad, portrait and landscape WHAT YOU TYPE STAYS WITH YOU • Rokey doesn't ask for Full Access, so iOS doesn't let it reach the internet • The dictionary and suggestions run entirely on your device • No account, no ads, no statistics about what you type SETUP Open Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Add New Keyboard and choose Rokey. When typing, hold globe and pick Rokey. You can try the keyboard in the app before you enable it. REQUIREMENTS • iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later
