About

Split The Bill Receipt Scanner

Your meal. Your share. Turn an itemised receipt into a clear bill for everyone. Take a photo, choose receipt images or add items manually, then check the details and pick who had what. SCAN, THEN CHECK Use the native receipt camera or choose photos. Crop and rotate images, compare recognised items with the original receipt, and correct names, quantities, prices and charges before accepting the scan. Long receipts can use up to eight photos, with possible overlaps shown for review. SPLIT THE WAY YOU ATE Assign individual units to a person or group. Share an item equally or use custom proportions. Add service, discounts and tips with flexible allocation, and see each payer’s itemised amount as you go. Shared pennies are allocated exactly. SHARE A CLEAR STATEMENT Send an itemised image, copy the bill text, save an image to Photos, or use Print / PDF. Statements show what each payer owes. The app does not transfer money or confirm payment. MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD Use native camera, photo, file and sharing controls, with layouts for iPhone and iPad. Follow your system appearance or choose light or dark, with support for larger text and accessibility appearance settings. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Receipt recognition and calculations run on your device. No account, advertising or receipt upload is needed. Your current bill is saved locally; there is no cross-device sync or receipt history. Export anything you want to keep. Choose GBP, EUR, USD, AUD or CAD. Currency conversion is not provided. Recognition works best with clear English-language receipts. Always check the item counts, prices, charges and final total before splitting; a matching total alone does not prove a scan is correct. Requires iOS or iPadOS 26 or later.
