If you are worried about some annoying sender - you can always add his number to the block list (don't forget to remove it from your contact list - ios does not allow you to process messages if the number is in your contacts list). Customize the words you want to block. For example, someone mentioning "cow" or "hammer" is not spam, but you do not want to receive messages containing these words. Then just add them to the block list. And if it is very important for you not to miss a message, for example, with the name of your child - add his name to the allowed list, and all messages with this name, regardless of the rest of the content, will go to the inbox.
