Verdict
Codepoint and Shibamotes both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Shibamotes's written reviews are positive against 67% of Codepoint's. Shibamotes also leads on price ($0.99 vs $4.99) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks). Codepoint's advantage is ratings volume (41 vs 3) and chart position (#125 vs unranked). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
