Learn the 1000 most common words in German, Spanish, French or Italian, one quick round at a time. 1000 Words is a fast vocabulary game. You see an English word and five translations, and you have 5 seconds to tap the right one. A round lasts 60 seconds, so it's easy to fit one in whenever you have a minute. HOW IT WORKS • Pick a language, then how many of its most common words to play with: 10, 25, 50, 100, 500 or all 1000. • Each right answer scores 10 points and grows your streak. Every 5 in a row sets off a shower of confetti. • You have three hearts. A wrong or late answer costs one. Keep going for 60 seconds to win. • After each round, see the words you missed so you know what to practice. WATCH YOUR PROGRESS Every word you answer right counts toward your progress. See how many of the 1000 words you've learned in each language, and fill up every level from the top 10 to all 1000. Miss a word and it goes back on your list until you get it right again. START WITH THE WORDS YOU'LL USE MOST A small set of everyday words makes up a large share of what people say and read, so learning them first gets you understanding a new language sooner. • No ads • No account needed • Works offline • Music and haptic feedback, and you can turn the music off
