About

Mathizer

Features

Mathizer is the calculator for everyday math: a discount at the store, scaling a recipe, splitting a bill or checking a proportion at work. Type your calculation, get an exact answer instantly and keep it with you without reopening the app. YOUR RESULT ON THE LOCK SCREEN • With Live Activities, your latest result stays on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while you use other apps. • Copy, tap it to return to the operation exactly as you left it, or just dismiss it. CALCULATOR • Type full expressions with parentheses, percentages, powers, roots and scientific notation. • See the result as you type, no need to press "=". • High precision, without the rounding errors common in other calculators. • Copy any result with a tap and paste numbers in any format. RULE OF THREE • Enter three values and find the fourth with direct or inverse proportion in a single tap. • Perfect for unit prices, currency conversions, scales, recipes, fuel use or work hours. FRACTIONS • Operations: add, subtract, multiply and divide two fractions and get the simplified result alongside the unsimplified one. • Simplify: reduce any fraction to its simplest form. ARITHMETIC • Greatest common divisor (GCD) and least common multiple (LCM) of two numbers, to split things into equal parts or find when two cycles line up. • Prime factorization: break any number down into prime factors with exponents (2³ × 3² × 5 × 7…). • Base conversion: convert numbers between decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal, up to 32 digits with no loss of precision. The result updates as you change the number or the base. EQUATIONS • Solve quadratic equations by entering the coefficients a, b and c. • Get both roots, a double root or the complex roots, with exact decimals. GEOMETRY • Pythagorean theorem: enter two sides of a right triangle and get the third, whether it's the hypotenuse or either leg. • Handy for diagonals, ramps, roofs or screen sizes. ALWAYS AT HAND • Mathizer remembers each operation's inputs and results when you leave the app. • Pick a favorite operation and the app opens straight to it. • Open any operation from the app icon, Spotlight or Siri. YOUR WAY • Light, dark or system theme. • Choose your number format: 1,234.5 · 1.234,5 · 1 234.5 and more. • Available in English and Spanish. • Designed for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad. On iPad and an unfolded iPhone Duo, the menu and your operation sit side by side when there is enough room; hide the menu to give your operation more space. With iPhone Duo partially open, inputs and the keypad sit on either side of the fold. Folding or unfolding keeps your operation and inputs in place.
