Kora Run
Read full descriptionHide full description
Run 60 minutes non-stop. Most running plans tell you where to start. Kora finds out. Kora is for anyone new to running, or coming back to it. ONE RUN TO FIND YOUR STARTING POINT No target. No pace to hit. No distance to cover. You run continuously until you would rather stop, and Kora builds the plan around that. One person lasts a minute. Another lasts forty. Both get a plan that starts where they are and heads for the same place: sixty minutes of running without stopping. THREE RUNS MAKE A WEEK Each week gives you three runs. Finish all three and the plan moves on. A week here is three runs, not seven days. So a bad week costs you nothing but time, and there is no streak to break. EFFORT, NOT PACE Every session is built on how hard you are working, not how fast you are going. Kora tells you what each part of a run should feel like: easy enough to talk through, hard enough that you cannot, or a gentle jog to recover. Then it gets out of the way. There is no number to miss. THE PLAN LISTENS After each run you drag one dial to say how it felt. That answer decides what comes next. Say a week was hard and the plan holds you there until you are ready. Say it was fine and it steps up. You move at your pace, not somebody else's. IT ALL WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL Everything is worked out on your phone. Run in a basement car park or up a mountain. Nothing waits for a connection. When you are back on a network it all backs itself up, and on a new phone everything comes back where you left it. WHERE IT ENDS The plan finishes when you run for sixty minutes without stopping. That is the goal. Not a race, not a distance. An hour of continuous running is the point where running stops being something you are trying to start and becomes something you do. NOTHING ELSE IN THE WAY No adverts. No leaderboards. Nothing you record is sold or used to track you. PLEASE NOTE - Sign in with Apple is the only account you need. - Talk to a doctor before starting any new exercise program.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kora Run at none against Weight Lifting's 3. Weight Lifting's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
