Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: MexHome at 100% against Hemmings's 31%. MexHome also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). Hemmings's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Hemmings holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hemmings has 7.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Hemmings's written reviews are positive against 100% of MexHome's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Hemmings ships an update every 10 days, MexHome every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
