The majority of statuses are functional offline allowing the driver to manually select a delivery status in poor signal areas or when data has been turned off. 5. There is an SOS feature that immediately alerts the branch’s management console that the driver is in trouble and requires immediate assistance. 12. The driver app only works correctly if it can access the location of the driver all the time. Loop collects location data to enable trip allocation and driver tracking even when the app is closed. This ensures that employers are able to assign trips to drivers and are able to monitor their fleet at all times during the working day. Once a driver has logged out of the app then location data is no longer collected.
