About

AutoCarnet

Features

AutoCarnet keeps the proof that a car has been looked after. On the day of the sale, the buyer gets a report they can check themselves, instead of a shoebox full of paper. Everything works with no signal, even reading your invoices, which happens on the iPhone. A REPORT THAT CHECKS OUT The sale report is a PDF: vehicle sheet, full history, cost summary, warranty status, numbered receipts attached. The VIN is hidden by default. A SHA-256 fingerprint is printed as a QR code at the bottom of the first page: the buyer scans it in the app and the fingerprint is recomputed in front of them. If a single line has changed, it no longer matches. That check is free and will stay free — there is nothing for them to buy. RECEIPTS READ ON THE DEVICE You scan a receipt and the app pulls out the date, the amount, the shop and the odometer reading. Nothing is sent anywhere: the reading happens on the iPhone, by Apple Intelligence when the device allows it, by rules otherwise. It recognizes the dates, the amounts and the taxes of French, English, Spanish, Italian and Japanese — sales tax, GST and QST in Quebec, IVA, VAT, 消費税. FUEL AND REAL CONSUMPTION Full or partial fill-ups, tank-to-tank consumption in MPG, L/100 km or kWh/100 km, cost per mile, and a curve that shows the drift before it becomes a repair. REMINDERS THAT LAND AT THE RIGHT TIME A due point by date or by distance, whichever comes first, with a projection based on how you actually drive. Winter and summer tires, annual rustproofing, mandatory inspection. A notice seven days before, then on the day itself. WARRANTIES THAT END AT THE RIGHT TIME Basic, powertrain, corrosion, battery, extended: each one ends at the first limit reached, the date or the distance. You are warned 60 days before, then 14. TWO SETS OF TIRES, COUNTED HONESTLY The real distance on each set, recalculated at every rotation, the tread depth, and the winter compliance check from home. IT KNOWS WHERE YOU DRIVE 39 countries and 341 provinces, states and regions, each with its taxes, its currency, miles or kilometers, its winter tire rules and its mandatory inspection — state safety inspections, the MOT in Britain, shaken in Japan. YOU ARE COMING FROM ANOTHER APP Import a CSV from Drivvo, Fuelly, Simply Auto, AUTOsist, aCar or elsewhere. Columns are recognized by keyword and you see a preview before a single line is written. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is duplicated. FREE, AND NEVER HELD HOSTAGE Every feature is in the free version; only the volume is capped — one vehicle, 15 maintenance entries, 10 scanned receipts. Two things are never capped: exporting your data, and checking a report you have been sent. AutoCarnet Pro removes every cap. It is bought once, not a subscription. NO SERVER OF OURS Lock with Face ID or Touch ID — a receipt carries your address, your VIN and your plate. No account, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your iPhone or in your own iCloud, and iCloud sync can be turned off. Made in Canada by Nidello.
